After a peaceful nights sleep, we were wakened bright and early ready for another day of action packed activities. The weather has been a little changeable today – not quite as lovely as yesterday!
Activities on the bill:
Canoeing, raft-building, bouldering, stream walk, crate challenge, dungeon of doom, archery, trapeze, caving, climbing, night line, team challenge & piranha pool.
Welcome visits from Miss Bostock and Miss Renton who joined groups on the canal and climbing amongst other things.
Check out today’s video and we are looking forward to more activities before coming home tomorrow…
See you soon,
Year 5
(Sorry, technical difficulties have left us with the video stuck on my laptop tonight…I will try again in the morning so that you can see some of the fun that we’ve all been having! Mr G)

Hello from Robinwood!
I’m sorry it’s not a year 5 pupil writing this (I will try to make sure that it is tomorrow) but they are all finding their way to bed – absolutely shattered!
Since setting off this morning it has been non stop and they have been doing everything from rinsing themselves off in the stream to jumping of a tall tower to a trapeze to making water rockets and so much more! I don’t think I can fit it all in but we are all having a fantastic time!
I’ll get them to tell us about what they thought were the best bits and I’ll make sure they get posted tomorrow as well.
Don’t forget to look at the video (click the link below) and check out a small selection of the things that we’ve been doing today…soooo many excited faces…

Calling all Y5 children from Wilsden 2010-2011…
Please comment on this post telling the world about what you’ll miss from Y5. I hope that you can think of something so tell us what it is!
Remember all the things that you’ve learnt in English this year and make sure it’s a brilliant piece of writing as well as a thoughtful assessment of your time this year.
Looking forward to reading them…

Loving the photo of the day for Friday!!!
Can I say a quick thank you to all of the staff who worked so hard to make this year’s Ingleborough Hall Residential such a fantastic success! Without the hard work that everyone put in before and during the week, it couldn’t have happened and you all did a brilliant job!
Also, a massive thanks to all of our year 5′s who came on the trip this year. I had a great time with you all and I know that you all thoroughly enjoyed it too! Well done for everything that you achieved and thank you for a super week!

Dear Children, Mums and Dads,
Hopefully you’ve managed to get some sleep after a fun packed week of activities at Ingleborough Hall. I’m sure that more than one of you will have had a huge sleep in yesterday AND today.
On behalf of myself, Mr Gallucci and all the Staff, both from Wilsden and the Ingleborough Hall, I’m pleased to say that you have been a delight to spend a week away with this week! You’ve been a credit to yourselves and the school.
Thank you Mums and Dads for the lovely comments you made on our blog, even the weather couldn’t stop us, though it did try.
Miss Renton

Sorry we couldn’t blog yesterday, they turned the Internet off here at Ingleborough Hall because of the weather.
We are having a great time and we can’t wait to see you all tomorrow.
Especially today we got really wet because it was raining, then raining, and then more rain. The cavers were probably the driest of them all even though they thought they got really wet.
The orienteering people and the walkers all dreaded going out side for their activities because of it, (but they still had fun!)
Love from all of Year 5 xxx
P.S check out our movie
